The Sugar Grove Church of Christ is a part of a world wide brotherhood of Churches of Christ & Christian Churches known as the Restoration Movement. Churches that are a part of this movement seek to restore the church to what is found in the New Testament.

Each church is independent, self governing based on the first century church, and is not a part of any denomination or governing organization.

The church is congregational in structure under the leadership of Elders who have been chosen by the congregation.

Worshipping here since 1857!

The Sugar Grove Church of Christ gathers each Lord’s Day to worship God through songs, prayer, sharing the Lord’s Supper, and sharing in His word. We are located between La Crosse and Madison, Wisconsin, on U.S. Highway 14. This building is over 100 years old and has received three additions. And on an average Sunday morning we have worshippers whose ages pretty well span a century!

The Sugar Grove Church of Christ is an independent, Bible believing congregation.  We seek to base what we do on what we find in Scripture and the actions of the early church as found in the New Testament.  We are autonomous, having no structure with authority over us.  Our leadership is selected from within our church body. We support ministries in our area and missionary works around the world.  As part of our regular support, we are involved with Bernel Getter's long-time mission in India, with Family Ministries in Florida, and with the Richland Community Food Pantry.

At Sugar Grove Church of Christ, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday.  We do not require membership in our church in order to participate.  We openly pass the bread and the cups throughout our church. To participate in our communion, we ask only that you recognize Jesus as the Christ, our Risen Lord and Savior, and that you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior.

We welcome you to come and share with our church family at Sugar Grove Church of Christ!
